RESULTS AND ACTIVITIES

These activities aim to achieve the following outcomes for Migrant Entrepreneurs:

  • Become more aware of the existing business opportunities and more confident on how to exploit them
  • Develop new intercultural, entrepreneurial, and soft skills
  • Establish new networks with key stakeholders, with Native entrepreneurs and professionals, and with each other
  • State and Private Bodies and advisors become more aware of how to support Non-Native entrepreneurs efficiently

Business Roadmap for non-native entrepreneurs

The Roadmap will present tailored consulting and assistance on administrative procedures, recruitment practices, and compliance with tax regulations, labor law and social security obligations, as well as on how to identify and access business/funding tools and initiatives

Networking Events

Networking events will open access to any kind of public (or private) initiatives, in order to exploit business opportunities, such as: – Business funding and specific business tools

– Facilitating the negotiations process
– Initiatives for hiring personnel
– Interaction with bodies and organisations that support entrepreneurship like Chambers, NGOs, trusted professionals, etc

Tailor Webinars

A special dual training methodology will be used to support the non- natives solopreneurs and entrepreneurs.
First a training session that addresses several different entrepreneurial and soft skills through active learning techniques, having the opportunity to strengthen hybrid skills and thus be more confident, more ready to identify and exploit business opportunities and tools.

Training for Facilitators

The training of the facilitators will follow the cascade training methodology, thus 4 facilitators will be trained in Portugal and then they will come back and train at least 15 other facilitators, who will then train others. The main idea is to train at least 5 non- native facilitators, from the migrant communities, so they will act as facilitators themselves after the completion of the project.
